This guinomi was thrown in Eito Shinozaki's studio in Bizen, then fired in his noborigama kiln.

Its slightly flared shape and fine horizontal ridges highlight the color variations that emerged during firing. Its surface blends brown, ochre, and golden tones, punctuated by darker markings.

It is designed for everyday use, for both tea and coffee.

  • Firing: Wood - Eito Shinozaki's noborigama kiln
  • Usage: Tea / Coffee
  • Dimensions: approx. Ø 7 × H 8 cm
  • Avoid thermal shock and sudden temperature changes.
  • Allow to dry completely before storing the item.
  • Dishwasher and microwave use should be avoided.

Expertise

Atelier Tadaima

Tadaima is a project dedicated to Japanese handcrafted ceramics and everyday objects.

Born from several trips to Japan, the project stems from a curiosity for ceramics, and more specifically for the chawan, whose presence in daily Japanese life gradually led me towards tea, matcha, and the world surrounding them.
